Two minutes later, El Tri was linked up by Funes Mori to double their lead.

It was Herrera again who grabbed his brace, six minutes on resumption to make it.

The result extended Mexico’s dominance over Nigeria after six games.

While, El Tri have now won three games and the former African champions remain winless after three outings ended in a draw.

Gernot Rohr who was in the stand in the match, was not impressed by the team’s performance , as the Super Eagles were completely dominated all through the game.
