House Of Reps Member Executes 10 Projects In BAC

A Member of the House of Representatives from AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency of the FCT, Mr Micah Jiba has executed over ten Constituency projects in all the ten wards of Bwari Area Council of the FCT.

Inspecting the projects in Bwari Abuja, Mr Jiba said the gesture was in fulfilment of his electioneering campaign promises to people of the area.

He said the inspection tour of the projects was to ascertain the quality and level of work so far done with a view to ensuring that the standard of work and time frame was met.

According to him, the projects are
rural electrification in Zhigakuchi,. Installation of new transformer in Mpape, rehabilitation of motorized borehole Ebeje, rehabilitation of motorized borehole Galuwyi, drilling of motorized borehole Kawu, and Barangoni.

Others are the drilling of motorized borehole in Bwari town SCC road, drilling of motorized borehole in Sabon Gari Bwari, Dei-dei community, Byazhin, and construction of blocks of class rooms, with toilet and store room in Dawaki.

The Lawmaker advised people of the benefitting communities to ensure effective maintenance of the facilities.

In an interview, Chief James Nwambe, the Dakachi of Zhigakuchi community, who expressed joy, revealed that the entire Community had lived without electricity for over 100 years.

He said several appeals to government to provide the community with rural electrification project proved abortive”until the lawmaker came to the aid of the community with the installation of a 500KVA transformer and installation.

“We collectively want to thank him as a community and say may Almighty God keep him for us and take him more higher” he said”.

Also the community leader of Eneje Community in Mpape Community who further appreciated the Reps member said the Community had been sharing light due to poor power supply in the area.
