The Peoples Democratic Party caucus of the House of Representatives has re-emphasized the urgent need to overhaul the nation’s security apparatus to ensure safety of of lives and property in the Country.
The Chairman of the Caucus, Mr Kingsley Chinda made the call while addressing newsmen on the worsening insecurity in the Country.
Mr Chinda also called for declaration of a state of emergency on security for a secured and peaceful Nigeria.
The Lawmaker who condemned the killing of rice farmers in Borno State and abduction of students in Katsina State said the caucus would not allow insecurity to disrupt the Nation.
While calling for more measures to end the menace, the caucus reiterated its call for the easing out of service chiefs to allow fresh ideas that would promote security.
