The Nigeria Labour Congress has called on the Plateau State Government to pay Staff of the Hill Station Hotel their allowances.

Vice Chairman of the union in the State, Comrade Sunday Akinfolarin  stated this when he led a peaceful protest at the premises of the Hotel in Jos.

According to him the protesters are calling for payment of 3 months salary and 12 months entitlements for retired staff.

He explained that they made presentations to the relevant authorities without response, hence the protest.

Comrade Akinfolarin expressed regret that some management staff without hotel experience were employed which he said also affected the smooth running of the hotel.

He said the hotel had a staff strength of a hundred but in 2015, 35 were retired without benefits.

Comrade Akinfolarin called on the Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong, whom.he described as a father, to look into their plight.
