HDT Chairman Calls For Improved Road Safety Education In Motor Parks

The Federal Road Safety Commission has been advised to stop the sale of alcohol and illicit drugs in motor parks as it begins Campaign for the Child Road Safety Strategy across the Country.

The Chairman, Heavy Duty Trucks in Gwagwalada, Alhaji Zakari Adamu gave the advise in a chat with Kapital Fm in Abuja.

Alhaji Adamu identified bad roads, drunk driving, breaking of speed limits and Reckless driving as some of the most common causes of road accidents in the Nation.

He thereafore stressed the need for Nigerians to always obey traffic rules and regulations.

Alhaji Adamu while calling for improved road safety education in motor parks and for the motoring public emphasized the need for Government to rehabilitate roads to reduce loss of lives and property in the Country.
