A Consultant Gynaecologist and IVF Specialist, Dr Kenneth Egwuda has called for more collaborative efforts among players in the health sector to meet the health needs of Nigerians.
Dr Egwuda stated this while delivering a lecture organized by the Natural Science students Association and the Medical Science students of the University of Jos.
Dr Egwuda who is also Head of Assisted Reproductive Technology at a private hospital in Jos, said collaboration of all stakeholders in the health care system was key in achieving good results.
He called on government to channel more resources to revamp the health sector.
Also speaking, the Dean, College of Sciences university of Jos, Professor Emeka Ike described the programme as timely, Considering the fact that medicine is rapidly evolving globally.
He said such lectures would go a long way in sharpening students knowledge in their academic pursuits.
