Gov Lalong To Set Up Anti Land Grabbing TaskForce

Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong wants the people of the State to take advantage of the Anti-Land Grabbing Law to seek redress over any land forcefully or illegally taken from them.

The Governor said he will soon inaugurate an Anti-land Grabbing Task Force to follow up on such complaints and ensure that justice prevails.

Governor Lalong who was speaking at the inauguration of the new leadership of Plateau Youth Council at Azi Nyako Youth Centre in Dadin Kowa Jos, called on the leadership of the youth Council to work for greater peace and security of Plateau State.

The Governor urged the youths to shun being used by unpatriotic elements in causing disharmony in the State.

The New Chairman of the Plateau Youth Council, Comrade Lot Sunday Adas promised to work with the Government in ensuring that the youths were empowered and job opportunities created.
