Gov Ishaku Seeks Support Of NAFDAC For Local Manufacturing In Taraba

Taraba State Governor, Darius Dickson Ishaku has called on the National Agency for Foods, Drugs Administration and Control, NAFDAC, to support the Local Manufacturing Enterprise being promoted by his administration.

Gov Ishaku made the call during a courtesy visit to the Director General of the agency, Professor Mojisola Adeyeye in Abuja.

Gov Ishaku explained that his administration had revived eight moribund government-owned Companies to create employment and business opportunities.

Ishaku said NAFDAC, as a control and regulatory agency, had a lot to do in supporting new and promising manufacturing companies to grow.

“I am here to inform you on what we are doing so that whenever we request for endorsement of our products it will be granted without hesitation”, Ishaku said.

Responding the Director General of NAFDAC, Prof Mojisola Adeyeye who applauded Governor Ishaku’s laudable achievements in Taraba State urged other State Governments to emulate by promoting local enterprise to create employment opportunities.

She promised NAFDAC’s readiness whenever it is needed to boost the nation’s economy.
