The Institute of Security and Strategic Studies has Confered a Fellowship On the Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, in recognition of his doggedness in securing lives and property in the state.
At the investiture in Abuja, the Institute pointed out the governor’s outstanding efforts in ensuring adequate security in the state.
The Governor Who was represented by his deputy, Edward Onoja at the event, said the honour was another push for him to do more in safeguarding lives and property of Kogi people and other Nigerians living in or transiting through the state.
In addition to the fellowship, Governor Bello was also awarded the institute’s first ever ‘Security Personality Of The Year Award’ for his outstanding performance in the area of security.
Governor Bello has also received awards on security from many organizations, Associations including the Nigerian Police Force and other security agencies.
