Senator Mohammad Danjuma Goje , representing, Gombe Central has called on Nigerians to remain United in the face of various challenges facing the country .
Senator Goje in a Sallah message by his Media aide , Lillian Nworie in Abuja rejoices with Nigerians, particularly the Muslims on the occasion of Eid el Kabir.
Goje who is the Chairman of the North East Caucus in the National Assembly, enjoines Muslims to use the season of pray fervently for the progress of Nigeria.
He implores Nigerians to embrace one another and shun any form of discrimination amongst themselves.
” At this feast of sacrifice , I call on Nigerians to be their brother’s keeper at all times in providing the unity that could move the country forward and frustrate the nefarious activities of criminals among us ” , he said .
He however urges Nigerians to celebrate the Sallah in conformity with COVID-19 safety protocols just as he lauds their courage in the fight against the pandemic .
He commended them for their support and cooperation with the President Muhammadu Buhari led government in his efforts to curtail the spread of the deadly virus .
The lawmaker also prays for those who are sick of the pandemic to recover soon and those who lost their loved ones be comforted by the Almighty Allah.
“As Nigerians join the rest of the world to celebrate the 2020 Eid-el- Kabir, my heart rejoices with you. I wish you more fulfilling years and may Allah provide all of your needs.
“On this Eid-el-Kabir, may the peace of Allah abide with you, may His glory overwhelm you and his favour, grace and mercy never depart from our lives now and forever”, he said…….
