The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr Femi Gbajabiamilaa has urged the EndSARS protesters to put an end to their protests and not allow their righteous course be hijacked by those with ulterior motives.
The Speaker who made the call while addressing members of the house at plenary, appealed to the protesters not to see their withdrawal from the streets as conceding to defeat.
According to the him, there is an urgent need for them to move their agitations from the chaos of the streets to allow Government meet their demands.
Mr Gbajabiamila also observed that actions of the protesters have moved the nation to come up with policies that would bring about the much needed development.
He further promised to support the amendment of the Constitution to ensure that the fundamental human rights of every Nigerian is guaranteed so that the next generation of Nigerians do not inherit the current dysfunctional system.
The speaker, added that he would lead members of the house to visit some families of those who lost Loved ones to police brutality.
