Officers and men of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC FCT Command have been urged not to relent in ensuring free flow of traffic in the territory.
The outgoing FCT Sector Commander Assistant Corps Marshal Wobin Gora who gave the advice while handling over to the new Sector Commander in Abuja said officers must redidicate themselves and sustain the standard of the command .
While attributing the success recorded in about four years as FCT Sector Commander to the support of the officers and men, Mr Gora appealed to staff to continue to put in their best for effective traffic administration in the Six Area Councils of the Territory.
He also appreciated the support of the Special Marshals under the leadership of Mr Usman Adaji and solicited same for the new commander
Mr Wobin Gora who is now the Assistant Corps Marshal in charge of Zone Four comprising Plateau, Nararawa and Benue States stressed the need for the new sector commander to continue to engage stakeholders and Security Agencies for harmonious working relationship .
He also tasked him to always be on top of every situation and promote the welfare of the staff for efficient service delivery.
In a remark, the FCT Coordinator of the Special Marshal, Mr Usman Adaji commended the doggedness of the outgoing Sector Commander and pledged to give every support towards checking the excesses of road users in the FCT.
The New Sector Commander, Mr Sunday Ochi pledged to operate an open door policy to enable officers and Men to contribute towards making the roads safer for commuters.
Mr Sunday Ochi however solicited the support of all Unit Commanders and pleged to use his working experience in the territory to build on the legacy of the outgoing Sector Commander.
All the officers that spoke at the handing over ceremony showered encomium on the Newly promoted Assistant Corps Marshal Wobin Gora and prayed for success in his new assignment as Zonal Commanding officer RSH 4 Jos Plateau State .
