Staff of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN have been advised to be diligent , dedicated and leave a legacy after service.
The Director Abuja Operations, Alhaja Sherifat Ahmed gave the advice during the send off of some retired staff of the corporation in Abuja.
It was a moment of joy, testimonies and emotional feelings as management and staff of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN Abuja operations gathered to celebrate the former General Manager kapital FM Mallam Attah Kafin-Dangi, the former General Manager short and medium wave, Mr Adams ozi Musa and principal reporter news,Mr Lawal Mohammed who bowed out of service from the FRCN
The Director Abuja Operations Alhaja Sherifat Ahmed who commended the contributions of the retired staff recounted the legacies of the former General Manager Kapital FM, Mallam Attah kafin-Dangi and the other staff.
Alhaja Sherifat who emphasised on the place of deligence, dedication and hardwork in organizational and personal growth called on staff to put in their best in all they do and save for the rainy day.
On her part,the General Manager kapital FM Mrs Bukunola Toworu who was emotional due to the impact of Mallam Kafin-Dangi and the other two retired staff while in service, advised staff to always leave a mark to be remembered for after service
For the Deputy Director Sports and outside broadcast ,Mallam Ibrahim Yahaya and the Deputy Director Engineering, Mallam Abubakar Bello, Mallam Attah Kafin-Kangi and the other retired staff stood out while in service with the FRCN.
The Deputy Director News and Current Affairs , Mallam Mohammed Gbedus,represented by the Assistant Director News and Current Affairs, Mrs Grace Namiji and the Deputy Director Programmes, Mrs Philomena Nwaeze who prayed for the Retirees, pointed out that their efforts contributed in FRCN maintaining its place as the flagship of radio Broadcasting in the country.
In a response the retired General Manager Kapital FM , Mallam Attah kafin-Dangi who appreciated the love shown him, advised members of staff to always carryout their duties professionally.
For Mr Lawal Mohammed ,it was a moment to share this good times with the FRCN family
Highpoint of the celebration was the presentation of gifts to the retirees.
