A Former President, National youth Congress of Nigeria, Comrade Bello Shagari has called for more opportunities for youths in governance at the grassroots especially in the forth coming Area Council elections in the FCT.
He made the call in Abuja after the area Council screening exercise .
Comrade Shagari who frowned at the exclusion of youths in politics and governance over the years noted that passage of the” Not Too Young To Run Bill “into law by President Buhari has opened a new political space for the young politians.
Comrade Shagari who is a Chairmanship aspirant in Abuja Municipal Area Council AMAC, identified transportation, healthcare and education as key to fast tracking development especially in the rural areas.
Comrade Shagari also expressed worry over multiple taxation been imposed on those doing small businesses in the city centre.
