A Group under the All Progressives Congress, Legacy Awareness Campaign says the present administration is committed to revamping the power sector to boost economic activities in the country.
This is contained in a statement in Abuja by the leader of the group, Mr Ismaila Ahmed.
According to the statement, government is making efforts to complete some power plants abandoned by past administrations and embark on new power projects in Federal Universities, Teaching Hospitals, Unity schools among others.
It explains that Nigeria’s electrification project will provide grants to support solar home systems and ensure that Nigerians enjoy electricity from the national grid with minimal consumption rates.
The statement which acknowledges that after the completion of ongoing power projects, poor power supply will be a thing of the past, urges Nigerians to continue to support the present administration to enable it complete the good works targeted at improving the lives of citizens
