FCTA Wants Residents To Embrace Health Insurance Scheme

The Federal Capital Territory Health Secretariat has called on residents of the six Area Councils to embrace the Health Insurance Scheme.

The Acting Secretary, FCT Health and Human Services Secretariat, Doctor Mohammed Kawu who was represented by Director Special Duties FCT Health Secretariat, Doctor, Mathew Ashikeni made the call at the Commencement of the Poor and Vulnerable Groups Social Insurance Scheme in Gwagwalada, Abuja.

Doctor,Kawu said the gesture was aimed at ensuring accessible and affordable health care delivery to the Poor and Vulnerable in the Society.

In a remark, the Chairman Gwagwalada Area Council, Alhaji Adamu Mustapha who lauded the Secretariat for the Scheme promised to promote the health of vunerable persons in the Council.

The Chairman also advised residents of the Council to make use of the opportunity to register with the scheme for effective health care delivery.
