FCT Minister Vows To Arrest, Prosecute Looters Of Warehouses.

The FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Bello has ordered the arrest and prosecution of people that broke into the FCT warehouse in Gwagwalada Area Council and looted the food items.

Bello gave the directive during an emergency security meeting with leaders of various security agencies in Abuja.

The Minister, demanded that those who looted the food items must return them immediately.

According to him, security agencies would be massively deployed to affected areas to safeguard the warehouses in Idu Industrial District.

The FCT Minister expressed dismay that the ongoing #EndSARS protest has gradually degenerated to broad day stealing by hoodlums.

On her part, The FCT Minister of State, Dr Ramatu Aliyu who condemned the looting across the Country, said no nation could survive without a food reserve.

She called on Council Chairmen and Royal fathers in the FCT to educate the people in their domains.

She also enjoined those attacking private businesses, shops and market places to stop these wicked acts.

The Permanent Secretary, FCTA, Mr Olusade Adesola, FCT Commissioner of Police, Bala Ciroma, Chief of Staff to the FCT Minister attended the meeting.
