FCT : FRSC Deploys Over 2000 Personnel For Easter Operation

The Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC has deployed over Two Thousand Regular and Special Marshals for effective Traffic Control in the Federal Capital Territory during the Easter Special Operation.

FCT Sector Commander, Mr Wobin Gora who stated this while addressing news men in Abuja said adequate logistics had also been mobilised for traffic control at the Four Entry and Exit Points of the Territory.

The Sector Commander explained that the commission had also met with construction companies handling road rehabilitation to ensure that all barricades that could obstruct effective traffic flow were removed.

While appealing to Motorists to abide by traffic rules, Mr Gora explained that towing vehicles and ambulances would be stationed at some Strategic locations for emergency services.

The Sector Commander stressed the need for commercial drivers to avoid overloading, excessive speeding and ensure strict compliance to Covid 19 guildines.

Mr Gora however appealed to road users to give maximum cooperation to traffic and security agencies for the safety of lives and property on the road during and after the Easter Celebration.
