The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, Reverend Yakubu Pam has commended the Plateau State Police Command for their efforts in curbing insecurity in the State, especially kidnapping and farmers/ Herders clashes.
Reverend Pam, who stated this when he paid a visit to the Plateau State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Edward Egbuka at the Plateau State Police Headquarters, Jos noted that the fight against insecurity was a collective effort and not for security agencies alone.
He explained that the issue of insecurity and communal crisis can only be resolved through dialogue and urged citizens of the State to be vigilant and report any criminal or suspicious activity to the police.
Reverend Pam called on leaders across various organizations in the State to create a platform where people can express their concerns so they could be addressed
The NCPC scribe assured that he would do everything possible to support security agencies in the fight against insecurity in the country.
Responding, the Plateau State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Edward Egbuka congratulated the Executive Secretary on his appointment, stressing that the nation is faced with a lot of challenges which could only be resolved by spiritual rebirth and rejuvenation.
He urged the citizens not to loose hope and support security agencies to end criminal activities in the State.
