The Nigerian Armed Forces says continuous collaboration among various security agencies and locals have yielded more successes in its operations across the country.
The Coordinator Defence Media Operations, Defence Headquarters, Major General John Enenche stated this during the weekly media briefing in Abuja.
General Enenche said troops of operation Hadarin Daji, Operation Accord and other subsidiary operations in the North West eliminated scores of Armed bandits, bandits informant and recovery of arms and ammunition in Zamfara, Katsina and Kaduna.
The Coordinator stated that troops of operation Lafiya Dole,its Air Task Force and other subsidiary operations engaged in several clearance operations and ambushes which led to rescue of kidnapped victims, killing of some terrorists and recovery of arms and ammunition and other items.
In the North Central zone, General Enenche pointed out that troops of Operation Safe Haven and Whirl Stroke continued with its kinetic operations, arrested thirty six suspected cultists in Jos, Plateau state,
According to him, troops also arrested some armed bandits, eliminated several and recovered arms, ammunition and other items during its operations.
The Coordinator added that troops of operation Delta Safe and other subsidiary operations in the South South zone recovered seven hundred and seventy four 50kg bags of foreign parboiled rice, intercepted wooden boats with suspected stolen petroleum products.
