“Our officers and men in the 36 States of the Federation and the FCT have been fully mobilized to work with other formal security agencies in safeguarding lives and property of all Nigerians during and after the sallah celebration as we have been doing over the years” the Commandant General stated
Ambassador Joshua Osatimehin also enjoined Nigerians to adhere strictly to the protocol of COVID 19 to avoid the spread of the virus during the sallah celebration.
He equally advised commuters and motorists to take precautionary security measures while plying the road during the period to avoid casualties.
“Most unpatriotic Nigerians may want to use this period to perpetrate their evil deeds on the highway, people are therefore advised to take necessary precautions most especially at night to avoid falling victims of criminals” He emphasized.
While wishing Muslims and Nigerians in general a crime free celebration, Ambassador Joshua Osatimehin enjoined everyone to be their brothers keeper for a better society.
