The Evangelical Church Winning All, ECWA has called on the Federal Government to resolve its disputes with the various Unions in the Country.

In a communique at the end of it’s 68th General Church Council meeting held at the headquarters in Jos, the Church said the lingering crisis are not in the interest of the Country.

The Communique which was signed by ECWA President Reverend Stephen Panya- Baba and General Secretary Reverend Yunusa Nmadu charged Government to focus on creating the enabling environment for adequate harnessing and effective utilization of available resources that God has blessed the Nation with instead of resorting to foreign loans.

It condemned the frequent assault on security personnel in line of duty which it described as an affront on Nigeria and Nigerians.

The Church also expressed disapproval on the seige and assault on educational institutions in the Country, especially with the kidnaping of students in schools.

The Communique encouraged ECWA members and other Christians to join Political Parties of their choice and contribute to the development of the Country.

It said the Church had approved the setting up of a Bi-Vocationl Ministry as well as modalities for engaging suitable members of the Church into the Ministry.

While noting that the COVID 19 vaccine has proved to be effective, ECWA called on its members to make choices on whether to receive it or not.
