ECWA Takes Steps To Build A Strong & United Church

Members of the Evangelical Church Winning All, ECWA have been called upon to always work together towards building a Strong and United Church.

Reverend James Igbul of the ECWA Gospel 2, Jenta, Jos gave the charge at the installation and send off of some of its members held at the headquarters of the church Jos.

At the event Dr Kalu Umeh handed over to Elder Haruna Danjuma as the new treasurer of the Church, while Reverend Sunday Agang was chosen as a trustee.

Reverend Igbul, who spoke on the topic
‘ building on the shoulders of one another’ stressed the need for people to always provide shoulders for others to progress.

Reading from the book of 1st Corinthians chapter three verse ten to fifteen, Reverend Igbul spoke against backbiting, especially in the church.

The Cleric who said the Church had been existing for ovet a hundred years prayed that God would continue to raise people to do his work through the Church.

ECWA President Reverend Stephen Panya Baba said those who were chosen had won the confidence of the people and are required to work faithfully in order to achieve the purpose of which they were chosen.

In his response, the new treasurer of the Church Elder Haruna Danjuma pledged to work with the ECWA executive towards a common good to glorify the name of God.
