Political leaders in the country have been urged to focus on building a one Nigeria devoid of political, religious or ethnic afiliations.
This is contained in a statement in Abuja by the Director General of the Progressives Governors Forum, PGF, Dr Salihu Lukman.
According to the statement the quest to build an indivisible nation has become necessary to resolve the issues of marginalization, injustice and inequality as being experienced now.
It stresses the need for all hands to be on deck to overcome the challenges facing the country.
The statement says that Nigeria as the giant of Africa should show examplary leadership and good governance based on fair representation, justice and equity.
The statement therefore advises Nigerians to elect credible leaders who would advance the course of all instead of engaging in politics of ethnicity and tribalism which is capable of dividing the country
It urges APC leaders to continue to set the pace in playing politics according to the rules for national unity, Peace and development of the country.
