The Director General of the Progressive Governor’s Forum, PGF, Dr Salihu Lukman has called on leadership of the All Progressive Congress, APC, to restore public trust in the party for success in the 2023 general election.
This is contained in a statement in Abuja by the Director General of the PGF in Abuja.
The statement notes that the party was able to win elections since its formation in 2015 because of President Buhari’s personality and trust by Nigerians.
The statement stresses that the party can only maintain its electoral value if the leaders are united.
It therefore urges members to place Interest of the party above personal interest.
The statement further appeals to leaders of the party to give appointments based on competence and not compensation for progress of the party and the nation in general.
It also advises leaders of the party to accept criticism rather than seeing it as a personal attack.
