The Director General of the Progressives Governors Forum, PGF, Doctor Salihu Lukman has condemned the 2020 report released by the Transparency International, on the corruption perception index of Nigeria.

This is contained in a statement in Abuja by the Director General of the PGF.

The statement says that Nigeria’s performance of twenty five out of hundred points in the corruption perception index that placed the country as one of the most corrupt nations in the world is untrue.

According to the statement, the report is an attempt to discredit efforts of the present administration in eradicating corruption and redeeming the country’s image before the international community.
