The Director General of the National Metallurgical Development Centre, Jos, NMDC, Prof Linus Asuquo has urged members of staff to remain committed and diligent in the discharge of their duties.
Prof Asuquo stated this on the Occasion of his 67th birthday in Jos, the Plateau State Capital.
He described total commitment to work as a major criteria for accelerated promotion.
He restated the resolve of the Centre to enhance capacity of staff for better output.
The NMDC Director General who commended staff for moving the centre forward, encouraged them to birth new ideas that would improve the centre’s task towards achieving the laudable programmes and policies of the present administration.
Prof Asuquo however, assured all members of staff that the necessary tools needed to perform effectively would be put in place to enhance the ease of doing business.
He urged the workers not to give room for laziness while discharging their duties, but rather maintain a Godly commitment no matter the cost.
Highlight of the event was the cutting of cake by the celebrant .
