Democracy Day: HGN Calls For A More Secured & United Nig

Hunters Group of Nigeria, HGN, has called for more measures that will guarantee a more secured and united Nigeria.

The Commandant General of HGN, Ambassador Joshua Osatimehin made the call in a message to mark this year’s Democracy Day.

Ambassador Joshua Osatimehin who expressed concern over secession agitation by some Nigerians said with the support of all stakeholders, the country would be better and greater.

He therefore stressed the need for all Nigerians to be committed to continuous corporate existence of Nigeria towards realizing the dreams of the nation’s founding fathers.

While describing democracy as the best form of government, Ambassador Joshua Osatimehin advised political office holders to always place national interest above personal ambition to ensure rapid development of the country.

On security, the Commandant General urged government at all levels to put in place strategies that would ensure protection of lives and property in the country.

He decried the level of insecurity in some parts of country and called for the strengthening of the nation’s security apparatus.

Ambassador Joshua Osatimehin stated that Hunters Group Nigeria would continue to support formal security agencies in the task of safeguarding Nigerians most especially at the grassroots.

He called for formal recognition of the Group through legislative backing to further enhance its performance in the country.

Ambassador Joshua Osatimehin who described security as everybody’s business advised Nigerians to always support security agencies in safeguarding the society.
