CUPP Mourns Former Gov Of Kaduna

The Coalition of Political Parties, CUPP, has expressed shock over the death of former Kaduna State Governor, Alhaji Balarabe Musa, who died this today.

This is contained in a statement signed by the National Secretary of CUPP, Chief Peter Ameh in Abuja.

The statement describes Late Balarabe Musa as a reflection of the passion and vigour that heralded Nigeria’s independence from colonialism. It also affirms that the vocal politician and advocate of good governance left a bold footprint on the nation’s democracy.

” He is a man of vigour and humility, always transparent and diligent in his dealings”

“A man of repute and reputable service to the people, he was at the forefront of the development of democracy of our beloved nation”

It adds that his life is worthy of emulation as he is a symbol of good governance and leadership.

“CUPP joins Government and people of Kaduna State in mourning a former civilian Governor of the State , Alhaji Balarabe Musa, whose passing will be sorely be missed by all Nigerians, who have diligently followed his antecedents as a voice for the voiceless.

“I believe Alhaji Musa reflected the passion and vigour that heralded Nigeria’s independence, which steadily translated into activism for return to democracy at the height of military interregnum and has remained steadfast in the call for good and inclusive governance.

“As the former Governor goes home, CUPP affirms that he left a bold footprint on Nigeria’s democracy, and his role in promoting good governance and development will always be remembered and appreciated by posterity.

“The CUPP prays that the almighty God will grant his soul eternal rest, and comfort his family, friends, and associates,” the statement adds.

He death is indeed a great loss for the people of Kaduna state and Nigerians. Farewell Alhaji Balarabe Musa.
