CUPP Lauds Sack Of Service Chiefs

The Coalition of United Political Parties, CUPP, has described the sack of Service chiefs as a great relief to Nigerians.

This is contained in a statement by the National Secretary of CUPP, Chief Peter Ameh

The statement explains that the long stay in office by the service chiefs demoralized personnel of the Armed forces and advancement of capable hands.

It however expresses joy that finally the voice of reason has prevailed

“it was uncalled for, officers who have attained the required and stipulated retirement age and years of service to continue to lead the ever energetic and active members of the Armed forces while their juniors are sent on retirement and promotion for those due are withheld” Chief Ameh stated.

According to the statement the sack will aid re-engineering of the weakened Security Architecture.

The statement Expresses Regret that Government and individuals now pay ransom to bandits to secure the freedom of loved ones a situation it described as most unfortunate and a sad experience that has left a sour taste in our mouth as citizens.

It therefore appeals to the new Service Chiefs to work to make sure that the country is secured to enable people travel across states to do business for the nation to prosper without the fear of being kidnapped.
