CROSSOVER SERVICE : FCTA COVID-19 Taskforce Lauds Churches On Compliance

The FCT Ministerial taskforce on COVID-19 Protocols Enforcement has said most churches in the nation’s capital complied with COVID 19 safety guidelines during the crossover services.

Head, media and enlightenment of the Taskforce, Comrade Ikharo Attah stated this when he led his team to monitor the services in Abuja.

According to him, the churches obeyed the guidelines by the presidential taskforce on Covid-19 and the FCT Administration.

“In all the churches visited, wearing of facemasks was a compulsory criterion for entry while hand washing points and sanitizers were adequately provided…

The team had visited the old parade ground in Area 10 where the Christ Embassy church held its Crossover service, Commonwealth of Zion Church (COZA) located at Guzape district, the Christ Apostolic Church, located behind VIO office at Area 1.

Other churges visited are the ECWA Church by APC National Secretariat, wuse 2, Methodist Church located at Wuse Zone 3 and the Assemblies of God church, Garki Area ,11.

At the Dunamis Gospel Church located at the Airport road, Comrade Attah who acknowledged that the congregation adhered to the use of face mask, however enjoined the church to work on their crowd control mechanism, in the area of physical distancing.
