Health workers in Kogi State have been cautioned against violating the rules and regulations of administering Covid-Nineteen vaccine.
The Executive Secretary, Kogi State Primary Health Care Development Agency, KSPHCDA, Doctor Abubakar Yakubu gave the warning in an interview with our correspondent in Lokoja.
Doctor Yakubu said the health workers have been trained and retrained on effective ways of administering the Astra Zeneca vaccine.
The Executive Director said the ongoing second jab has been hitch free but appealed to the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, NPHCDA, to supply Kogi State the balance of the vaccine needed to complete the ongoing vaccination.
He equally called on stakeholders and Non Governmental Organisations, to partner with the agency towards achieving set goals.
While expressing appreciation to Governor Yahaya Bello for his unflinching support to the Agency in overcoming its initial challenge, he promised continued sensitization for the people of the state to come out to receive the second jab and observe all health protocols.
