President of the Church of Christ in Nations, COCIN, Reverend Dacholom Datiri has called for a complete overhaul of the Country’s economic policy.
In a speech at the 99th General Council meeting of the Church held at the Headquarters in Jos, Reverend Datiri expressed worry over hardship faced by many Nigerians.
On the security challenges facing the Country, the COCIN President described the situation as embarrassing and disturbing and called on Government to rise up to its responsibilities before it is too late.
He said the alarming rate of kidnappings, Armed robbery and banditry had negatively affected the lives of countless innocent people leading into extreme traumatic conditions.
Reverend Datiri who noted that last year was a difficult year the world over as a result of the COVID 19 pandemic called on Nigerians to continue observing safety protocols.
Reverend Datiri stressed the importance of the prayers and revival unit of the Church, which he said came into being by a clear instruction from God which should be taken seriously.
