Cleric Wants Religious Leaders To Support Campaign Against Corruption, Social Vices

Religious leaders have been urged to support the ongoing campaign against Corruption and other social vices threatening National peace and development.

The General Overseer Dominion Chapel International Churches Archbishop John Praise-Daniel gave the advice in Abuja during the consecration of eleven Newly elected Bishops.

Archbishop Praise-Daniel who attributed the present situation in the country to high level of corruption in Government and Religious Institutions noted that many resources meant for development were mismanaged by those at the helm of Affairs.

The Archbishop stressed the need for resources to be evenly distributed and all Geo political Zones to be carried along in governance to check violence and agitations being withnessed presently.

He advised political office holders to be just and ensure transparency in their activities.

Archbishop John praise-Daniel urged the newly consecrated bishops not to relent in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and do all within their reach to alleviate the plight of ordinary citizens in the country.

He also advised them to be agents of peace and promote love among all religious groups in the country.

Over One Hundred bishops and Archbishops within and outside the country, top Government officials, traditional leaders and other church leaders attended the consecration with Apostolic Prayers for Divine intervention to the challenges in the country.
