Cleric Urges Journalists To Uphold Professional Ethics

Journalists in the Country have been charged to continue to uphold the ethics of the profession.

Presiding Pastor, Revival House Church, Lokoja, Pastor Halidu Abraham gave the charge at the thanksgiving service of the church attended by members of the Kogi State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists as part of activities to mark the Press Week.

Pastor Abraham said there was need for members of the fourth estate of the realm to remain resolute in discharging their duties despite the challenges.

In a remark, the Kogi State Chairman of NUJ, Comrade Adeiza Momoh-Jimoh described the Press Week as a time for appraisal by members of the Union of its activities in the course of the year.

Comrade Momoh-Jimoh solicited for continued prayers for members of the Union in the discharge of their duties in the years ahead.

Highlight of the service was special prayers for all Journalists in the State for safety and a successful career in the future.
