Religious leaders have been advised to desist from utterances that are capable of causing disunity in the country.
The chief Imam of Area ten Jummat Mosque Garki-Abuja, Mallam Yahya Garba Al-yolawi gave the advise in a jumma’sermon.
Mallam Garba Al-yolawi who called on Nigerians to always tolerate and respect the opinions of others, emphasized the need for religious leaders to always harp on issues that would unite the Nation.
The Cleric while enjoining Muslims to adhere strictly to Covid-19 protocols during prayers, stressed the need for Government to come up with programs that would cushion the effects of the second wave of the pandemic on the country.
