Nigerians have been urged to intensify prayers for the peace and unity of the country.

Senior Pastor of Help From Above Healing and Deliverance Ministry Worldwide, Pastor Godwin Ube made the call in a chat with Radio Nigeria in Abuja.

He also called for prayers for divine wisdom for those in authority to be able to succeed in their leadership roles.

Pastor Ube therefore urged Nigerians to shun fake news and hate speech as a way of assisting President Muhammadu Buhari to deliver on his mandate.

On insecurity, the Senior Pastor urged Christians to seek God’s intervention over security challenges in the country.

Pastor Ube blamed insecurity on lack of fear of God in people’s hearts stressing that whosoever fears God will not take any action that would jeopardise the wellbeing of fellow humans and his country.”

‘Suffering came as a result of sin. Today, the Lord wants to repair and restore all that is broken down, only if people will come back and reconnect to Him.” Ube stressed.

He therefore urged Nigerians to humble themselves, repent, turn away from all wicked ways seek the face of God genuinely, fear God and respect humanity for God to heal the nation.
The cleric said diminishing consciousness of Godliness and fear of God were affecting the country negatively.
He also admonished Nigerian leaders, including religious and traditional rulers to be conscious of Heaven.
