Cleric Attributes Challenges In Nig To Poor Leadership, Corruption

The General Overseer, Dominion Chapel International Church, Abuja Archbishop John Praise-Daniel wants politicians to place National interest above personal interest for Peace and Unity to reign in the Country.

Archbishop Praise-Daniel who made the call at the Church Thanksgiving service in Abuja attributed the present challenges in the Country to poor leadership, corruption and lack of love for one another.

He stressed the need for Nigerians irrespective of their political and ethno religious backgrounds to come together and promote national unity and development.

Archbishop Praise-Daniel maintained that the Government must take urgent steps to address the current security situation in the Country.

A Former Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, John Cardinal Onaiyekan however appealed to Christaians not to allow the present situation deter them from promoting peaceful coexistence and pray for Divine solutions to the increasing cases of killings, kidnappings armed robbery and other crimes threatening National development.

John Cardinal Onaiyekan expressed optimism that the Country would come out stronger from its challenges.
