The Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai has called on the Corps of the military police and other intelligence personnel to embrace regimentation and discharge their duties professionally.
General Buratai made the call during the Inauguration of the new office complex and Headquarters, Nigerian Army Corps of Military Police in Abuja.
General Buratai expressed appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari for provision of resources for the structure and pledged the loyalty of the military to the service of the country.
The Chief of Army Staff commended the Acting provost Marshall for his foresight and prudence in the utilization of resources towards the completion of the edifice.
General Buratai while promising to improve other facilities of the Corps, emphasized the need for discipline and regimentation which he said were key to building a professional Army.
Earlier, the Acting Provost Marshall of the Corps, Brigadier General Hassan Ahmed thanked the Chief of Army Staff for making it possible for him to complete the project.
General Ahmed while soliciting for intervention in the Military Police training school, the School of Legal Studies and accommodation for personnel of the Corps, promised to utilize the structure towards discharging professional duties inline with the vision of the Chief of Army Staff.
