Centre for Credible Leadership and Citizens Awareness has called on members of the 9th National Assembly to initiate more empowerment programmes in their constituencies to reduce the high rate of poverty and insecurity in the Country.
The Director General of the Centre, Doctor Gabriel Nwambu made the call while briefing newsmen in Abuja.
Doctor Nwambu stressed the need for politicians to impact positively on those they represent and always keep in touch with their contituents.
The Director General also urged political office holders to ensure that those at the grassroots benefit from the various programmes of the present administration.
Doctor Nwambu called on Nigerians to give more support to security agencies to achieve more.
