Central Bank of Nigeria says it will continue to provide opportunities for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to access loans at single digit rates to boost the economy.
Branch Controller of the Apex Bank in Nasarawa State, Mr. Samson Isuwa stated this at the opening of a three day Nasarawa Entrepreneur Bootcamp in Lafia the Nasarawa State capital.
Mr Samson Isuwa stated that the CBN had remained consistent in initiating loan schemes covering agriculture, the entertainment industry, small scale businesses among others at single digit interest rates as part of efforts to achieve the Federal Government’s drive to economic prosperity.
Founder Nasarawa Entrepreneurs Hub, Mr Kefas Tiga said the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp was to develop the skills of young entrepreneurs and identify which business has the capacity to access loans and pay back on time.
The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp had presentations from the Industrial Training Fund, Raw Material Research and Development Council, Standards Organization of Nigeria among other stakeholders.
