The Special Adviser to the F.C.T Minister of State on Religion and Communities Affairs, Mallam Yahaya Ibrahim Girinya wants the six Area Council Chairmen of the Federal Capital Territory, to clampdown on those involved in the sale of illicit drugs in the Territory .
Mallam Ibrahim Girinya made the call in an interview with Kapital FM in Abuja.
The special adviser who expressed worry over the increasing rate of drugs intake among women and youths in the territory, said proactive measures needed to be adopted to curb the menace.
Mallam Girinya called for stiffer punishment on anyone caught hawking illicit drugs in the territory.
He also enjoined residents of the territory to report any criminal activities to Security agencies for prompt action.
