The immediate past Governor of IMO State, Rochas Okorocha has called for collective effort of Nigerians for the present administration to sustain the achievements recorded so far.
Senator Okoroacha made the call when the APC Non National Working Committee members known as the “Integrity Group ” paid him a visit in Abuja to discuss on the way forward for progress of the party.
The Senator who said the APC was able to record success in the last two general elections due to the integrity of its leaders noted that for the party to continue to pilot the affairs of the country, leadership of the party must go back to the drawing board and find ways on how best to carry all members along.
Senator Okoroacha used the opportunity to call on the Federal Government as the nation prepares for its sixtieth independence to look at major challenges in the country such as unemployment and insecurity with a view to address them.
Responding, the Chairman of the group, Alhaji sadiq Abubarkar commended the APC led Government under the leadership of President Buhari for the laudable projects but said more needed to be done to enable the party maintain the trust reposed in them by Nigerians who voted them into power.
Alhaji Sadiq also urged leadership of the party to continue to preach peace and unity among members and the entire country for countinity in 2023 .
