APC Embarks On Reforms For Unity, Progress

The All Progressives Congress, APC, says it will embark on a nationwide membership re-registration and re-validation exercise after two years of conducting the same exercise.

The National Chairman, Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni made this known while receiving delivery of materials for the exercise at the National Secretariat in Abuja.

Governor Buni, who was accompanied by the Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Abubakar Badaru, Secretary of the Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Senator John Akpanudodehe and other party officials explained that the party is going to witness a new change under his leadership.

According to him, the exercise will be conducted across the over one hundred and nineteen thousand polling units nationwide.

Governor Buni said the exercise is in line with the desired reforms of the caretaker committee of the party to reorganise and expand its membership for greater progress, unity and development of the party.
