ACJ Urges Kogi People To Pray For Their Leaders To Succeed

Kogi State Director, Department of State Security Service, DSS, Mr. Oluwatosin Ajayi has enjoined people of the State to render selfless service to humanity.

Mr Ajayi made the call at the fourteenth edition of the Song Cantata organised by the State Chapter of the Christ the Redeemers Friend International, CRFI, in Lokoja.

Mr Oluwatosin Ajayi who was the Chairman of the occasion said that service to God entails rendering help to humanity especially the down trodden.

He also urged those in privileged positions to speak the truth at all times and serve God with utmost reverence.

In a remark, the Special Guest of Honour at the occasion and the State Acting Chief Judge, Justice Henry Olusiyi urged the people of Kogi State to keep hope alive and continue to pray for leaders in positions of authority to succeed.

The Pastor in charge of Region Twenty Four of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Francis Oluwalade stressed the need to thank God despite the challenges encountered in the course of the year.

The State Chairman of the Fellowship, Justice Alaba Ajileye said CRFI which is an interdenominational body organised the Song Cantata to bring together top Government functionaries, captains of industries and religious leaders to thank God for his blessings and protection.

The event featured ministration of songs by popular gospel artist, Pastor Victor You, Lokoja City Choral Group, Living Faith Church Choir and the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of Grace Choir.
