A Former Lawmaker Wants APC Members in FCT To Turn Out For Membership Revalidation

A former Member of the House of Representatives from AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency of the FCT, Mr Zaphaniah Bitrus Jisalo has called on members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the Federal Capital Territory to turn out massively to revalidate their membership of the Party.

Mr Bitrus Jisalo made the call after revalidating his membership of APC along with his wife in the ongoing exercise in Apo Resetlement Primary School, Abuja.

The former Lawmaker who was the APC Senatorial Candidate in the last general election expressed satisfaction with the arrangements put in place by the APC Extra Ordinary Convention Chairman, Mai Mala Buni.

He therefore urged leadership of the Party in the FCT to exhibit high level of decorum in ensuring effective mobilization for membership registration and Revalidation exercise.

Mr Bitrus Jisalo also urged residents of the FCT to use the opportunity to join the Party and get registered.

He stressed the need for all those involved in the exercise to be transparent to produce an authentic membership register.

According to him, the ongoing membership revalidation and registration exercise of APC is necessary and constitutionally sanctioned by the Party.

The former Lawmaker stated that the party was mobilizing and sensitizing Nigerians most especially youths and women to join the APC in order for them to have a voice in matters that affect them.

Mr Bitrus Jisalo who enjoined every member of the Party in FCT to be orderly and peaceful throughout the exercise called on Party stalwarts to embrace the exercise and ensure that their followers revalidate and register to build the membership base of the APC.
