About 28 players of the Super Eagles of Nigeria have arrived and camping at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, for the kick-off of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
yet to arrive the camp to make it a full house is Saidu Sanusi,
Chidozie Awaziem, Paul Onuachu and Joe Aribo are the latest players to hit the camp on Tuesday
Others in camp include: Tyronne Ebuehi, Leon Balogun, Ola Aina, William Troost-Ekong, Maduka Okoye, Terem Moffi and Jamilu Collins.
Also in Lagos for the crucial matches are Valentine Ozornwafor, Innocent Bonke, Moses Simon, Shehu Abdullahi, Ahmed Musa, Samuel Kalu, Daniel Akpeyi, Adekunle Adeleke, Alex Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacho.
Just as Oghenekaro Etebor, Francis Uzoho, Henry Onyekuru, Chidera Ejuke, Kingsley Michael, Wilfred Ndidi, Kenneth Omeruo as well as Victor Osimhen are also in camp.
Eagle Coach, Gernot Rohr invited 30 players ahead of the two qualifiers but Hoffenheim defender Kevin Akpoguma has been ruled out after testing positive to Coronavirus
Akpoguma is the second Super Eagles player to be ruled out of the game after Frank Onyeka was forced to withdraw from the squad on health ground.
The team will observe a closed door training today while a media conference is slated for Thursday.
Super Eagles will take on Lone Stars of Liberia on Friday in matchday 1 of the second round of 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifier.
They will fly out of Lagos on Monday to keep a date with the Blue Shacks of Cape Verde on Tuesday next week.
The match on Friday will kick-off by 4pm Nigerian time.
