Voting In Ten Polling Units At VGC, Lekki To Hold Tomorrow

Voting in ten polling units in Victoria Garden City, Lekki, Lagos will now hold tomorrow (Sunday).

The State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mr. Olusegun Agbaje announced this after consultations with the VGC Residents Association and the headquarters of the electoral body.

INEC officials had set up a voting point at the VGC gate for residents to vote but the residents insisted on voting at the VGC Park which had eight polling units, saying that was the designated voting point.

Mr. Agbaje said he discussed the situation with the INEC headquarters and it was decided that voting should now take place on Sunday.

He said there were over five thousand eligible voters in the area and that they would not be disenfranchised.
