Malawi : Buhari Commiserates With Victims Of Freddy Cyclone

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed sadness over the devastation caused by mudslides from Cyclone Freddy and floods, which left more than 300 people dead in Malawi.

Reacting to the record-breaking storm that came with devastating landslides in the Southeastern African State of Malawi, President Buhari conveyed the nation’s condolences to his counterpart, President Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, the families of victims who lost their lives, and government and people of the country.

President Buhari prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased, quick recovery for the injured, while hoping for early restoration of normalcy in the areas affected.
