Nigerians have been urged to engage in regular exercise to enhance their physical and mental well being
The Managing Director of a physiotherapy clinic, Dr Felix Babawemimo made the call in Abuja during a free fitness outreach crusade.
Dr Felix said the mega fitness crusade was part of the organization’s corporate social responsibility aimed at sensitizing Nigerians on the need to embrace regular exercise for the benefit of their health irrespective of their busy schedules and social status in the country.
He however, enjoined residents to also embrace a daily healthy life style through choice of diet, avoiding environmental polluted areas and other health threatening factors for longevity.
One of the participants of the fitness outreach, Mrs Modupe Ogundoro said the regular exercise has been the major source of her mental and physical strength over the years.
She however, called on Nigerians especially the aged ones to pay more attention to their health through regular engagement in physiotherapy and exercises for a sound health and mind.
